Stately White Crane
"Stately White Crane", a large wading bird with very long legs and neck, was from a photo my daughter-in-law, Jennifer took in Savannah, GA from her parents dock. It is a watercolor, 12x16 unframed. THIS PAINTING SOLD AT THE LYNCHBURG, VA ARTS FESTIVAL, SEPTEMBER 2015.
Road Less Traveled
"Road Less Traveled" is from a photo my sister, Julia took somewhere in Bedford County. It is an oil 11x14. It was such an awesome painting to do, very relaxing, just came together so quick.
Going Home!
This oil painting of the cow was one of my all time favorite cows to paint. "She" was a commission from a couple that purchased the black and white cow "Got Milk, that is also listed here in my blog. The two were purchased from the Roanoke Sidewalk Show, May 2014.
"Lodge at the Peaks of Otter"
"Lodge at the Peaks of Otter" is a small painting, approx. 8x10 was done in watercolor. It is a view from across the lake of the well known lodge at the Peaks. It was SOLD at the Roanoke City Sidewalk Show May 31, 2014. A fun and somewhat trying painting getting the reflections in the water.
