Would you rather have a sunflowers, the pear or the red pepper? Take your pick. This painting is another oil on canvas and measures 11x14 unframed and with the frame is 15x17 1/2. What I loved doing in this painting was the cloth, the folds was so much fun to capture.

COME WALK WITH ME

COME WALK WITH ME is from a photo I took many years ago while walking on the Greenway over in southwest county. The part of the Greenway is called Murray Run. It is beautiful in the fall of the year with such beautiful colors. I did this in oil and it is a 11x14 canvas, its in a barn wood frame.

POND AT GREENFIELD

This oil painting is on gallery wrap canvas and measures 9x12. It is one of my favorite small paintings. If you have not driven to the Greenfield Industrial Park in Daleville you must go. Lots of walking paths and beautiful scenery, wild life and very peaceful.

GOSSIP

Can't you just hear that second bird from the left telling the one to her right all the gossip of the day? That was the first thing that entered my mind when Julia sent me the photo. Do we think the birds can really gossip? Silly thought, but strange if it where true.

"NO COW FOR CHOW!!"

It's a challenge naming my paintings! Some harder than others. My go to people for help are my husband, Steve and my sister, Julia. She is very creative and won the prize on this painting. Of course she also provided me with the photo. WOW, what would I do without her? When I see a cows out in a field, my first though is 'oh look at all those cows eating grass', its not until you look close that you see that are all different in one way or another. Another one of God's creations that are so unique.

ROCKS ON THE BEACH AT TYBEE BEACH, GA

ROCKS ON THE BEACH AT TYBEE ISLAND, GA. welcomes you to an early morning sunrise walk. Tybee Island is outside of Savannah, GA, a small but welcoming beach that has so much to offer families that enjoy a quiet vacation. But can enjoy all the history in site seeing in downtown Savannah. I took this picture last year (2016) while walking on the beach early one morning at Tybee. It is an oil painting on a Gallery Wrap Canvas and is 14x20.

YOUR PREFERENCE?

This 8x10 Gallery Wrap oil painting was so much fun to paint. I enjoy doing fruit and flowers, in oil as well as watercolor. A challenge in some cases but enjoying. So as the name questions, what is your preference? Red Delicious? Gala? Or Granny Smith? YOUR PREFERENCE?.

MOO OVER is a watercolor, the size framed is 18x22, unframed is 10x14. The photo was from the many reference photos that my sister Julia shares with me, she is so happy for me to use her talent for my talent.

DOWN ON THE FARM

This old barn was from the many barn photos my husband Steve has taken over the years. I have painted it a few times with a total different look. The painting is an oil on Gallery Wrap Canvas, the size is 24x30.

MISTY MORNING

I so enjoyed doing this painting in watercolor. My favorite thing was in the beginning, putting in the trees and the misty cool weather. If you have ever picked up a paint brush and started a new painting, it feels good to capture what you were trying to capture, something you'd never tried, and it worked. (from my standpoint anyway). The blue heron was a bonus with his long skinny legs, such a beautiful bird. This painting was done in watercolor its framed and matted. The size, with frame, 22 1/2 x 29, just the painting is 21x14. This painting SOLD at the Art on the Green in Lexington, VA April 2017.
