STREET SCENE IN GERMANY

Street Scene in Germany was from a photo when Steve and I traveled to Germany several years ago. What an awesome trip! So much to see and enjoy, all the beauty of the buildings, the food and the most impressive thing was just how clean, no trash on roadways, non along streets, no cigarette butts in all the different places we went.
This painting is a watercolor, matted and framed and the size is 17 x 21 1/2.

YELLOW HIBISCUS

This is one of my favorite flowers for the spring/summer time. Not only is it beautiful in the garden but just as beautiful planted in a pot. It comes in so many different colors, I really love the yellow. The painting is a watercolor, matted and framed, the size is a  17 1/2 x 21 1/2. This painting SOLD at the Roanoke Sidewalk Show June 2018.

THE ANCIENT MAGNOLIAS

Magnolias are one of my favorite flower blooming trees. They're tough fragrant trees with elegant beauty. The blooms release their sweet floral lemony scent for almost half the year. These trees have been around for millions of years. Magnolia fossils date back to Tertiary period, 100 million years ago. They were around before bees were, so they relied on beetles for pollination.

It took me a longtime to finish this painting! I painted several paintings and kept going back to it until I finished, glad I stuck with it, I went larger than I've done in a long time. Its in Oil, on a 16x40 Gallery Wrap canvas.

NATURES BEAUTY IN CONE FLOWERS

Love Cone Flowers! They are so unique with their heads held high and their petals remind me of a skirt! A beautiful addition to any garden. This painting is a watercolor and framed measures 19x17 1/2.

MOM AND ME

"Mom and Me" was a gift to my daughter Robbin for Christmas 2017. She has loved elephants since she was very young. It was so much fun to paint, loved each and every brush stroke.

ANTIQUE TABLECLOTH

This painting was a redo of one I did several years ago. The table cloth was one of my mother-in-laws that she kept on her dining room table. I always just loved it. I think she would be so proud to know it is still being used. The painting is a watercolor and framed is 22 1/2 x 18 1/2.
